The flagship model of the HC series, covering everything from city driving to sports performance. In addition to linear pedal control, it delivers outstanding stability in braking performance, especially in high-temperature conditions. Furthermore, it is designed to minimize dust as much as possible within the graphite metallic material specification.
Material: Super Graphite Metallic
Temperature Range: 50 to 800°C
Friction Coefficient: 0.41 to 0.55μ
Effectively Removing Dust Generated by Intense Friction
When the materials in the brake pad friction material burn at high temperatures, they produce gas, which can hinder brake performance in the gap between the pad and the rotor. This is known as the fade phenomenon. Slits located in the center of the brake pad efficiently expel gas and pad debris, maintaining stable braking power.
*Please note that this may not be compatible with some vehicle models.
*Brake noise may occur due to rotor aging, resonance, juddering, brake dust, rust, climate conditions, etc.
*Some products may not be applicable.
Suppressing Unpleasant Noise with Chamfer Cut
Brake pads with sharp angles can generate unpleasant noise during braking. To prevent this, we remove the angles (chamfer cut at the edges), minimizing undesirable brake noise.
*Please note that brake noise may occur due to rotor aging, resonance, juddering, brake dust, rust, climate conditions, etc.
*Some products may not be applicable.
No Additional Curing Required
Project Mu's brake pads are pre-treated for heat resistance, eliminating the need for additional curing processes. This ensures that gas generation, which can lead to brake fade, is suppressed. After purchase, you can use them with confidence after a proper break-in process.
*Please note that brake noise may occur due to rotor aging, resonance, juddering, brake dust, rust, climate conditions, etc.

Preventing Deformation with a Robust Backplate
The performance expected from a backplate is to withstand the powerful pressure of the piston without deformation. Deformation can lead to the detachment of the friction material, potentially causing serious accidents. While backplates are typically made of steel, Project Mu uses steel plates with a 20% higher strength than OEM standards, ensuring sufficient strength.
