This model offers reliable braking performance suitable for sports driving while improving resistance to brake fade, all at an affordable price.
Material: Super Graphite Metallic
Temperature Range: 0-500°C
Friction Coefficient: 0.32-0.45μ
Effectively eliminating brake dust generated by intense friction. When substances contained in the friction material of the brake pad burn at high temperatures, gas is produced, which hinders braking efficiency between the pad and rotor. This is known as the "fade" phenomenon. Slits located in the center of the brake pad efficiently expel gas and pad debris, maintaining stable braking power.
Not compatible with some vehicle models.
Brake squeal may occur due to rotor aging, resonance, judder, brake dust, rust, weather conditions, or other factors for some products.
Suppressing unpleasant noise with chamfer cuts. When there are edges on the brake pad, unpleasant noises can occur during braking. To prevent this, the edges are trimmed (end chamfer cut) to minimize uncomfortable brake squeal.
Brake squeal may occur due to rotor aging, resonance, judder, brake dust, rust, weather conditions, or other factors for some products.
No need for extra heat treatment. Project Mu brake pads are pre-heat treated to eliminate unnecessary material that would generate gas, a potential cause of fading. After purchase, simply bed them in, and you can use them with confidence.

Preventing distortion with a sturdy backing plate. The performance required of a backing plate is to resist warping under the piston's strong pressure. Warping can cause the friction material to come off, leading to serious accidents. Normally, steel is used for the backing plate, but Project Mu uses a steel plate with 20% higher strength than stock, ensuring ample strength.
