HKS Oil Cooler Kit (FK8)

This is a car-specific oil cooler kit designed with an optimal core size and layout, specifically for the high-performance CIVIC TYPE-R (FK8), which is known for being the fastest front-wheel-drive (FF) car.

Development Concept:

To maximize the cooling performance of the newly developed 48mm wide 9-stage core, a dedicated air duct is equipped. The oil cooler core is positioned inside the fender to ensure it doesn't obstruct radiator cooling. While the addition of an air-cooled core through stainless mesh hoses can sometimes transmit the pulsation noise of the oil pump to the interior as engine RPM rises, vibration damping measures such as floating mounting of the core have been implemented to significantly reduce uncomfortable pulsation noise while maintaining comfort. The attachment includes a thermostat to prevent overcooling. An HKS oil filter is included as standard equipment in the kit.

Other Notes:

Can be used in conjunction with the stock fog lamps.

The core adopts a 48mm width with 9 stages.

There is one PT1/8 sensor mounting hole in the filter mount section.

The stock components that require modification include the inner fender, brake duct, and front bumper.
